Check your site's back lins. Backlinks are links from other sites you your site. The higher the ranking of the sites that link to your site, the higher ranked your site will be. Sounds simple, but it's not. If there are a lot of sites linked to your site from the same IP, those backlinks won't carry as much weight as links from seperate IPs.
